Contract Duration: 10 Weeks
Shift: Day/Night Rotation (5:45 AM – 6:15 PM / 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term 10-week contract assignment in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support daily nursing operations, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor, document, and report patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene, mobility, and comfort care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility standards
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families regarding care plans and updates
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition
- Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Support additional clinical and nursing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted LPN License required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Prior experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing strongly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused approach to care
