Job Opening: Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Conyers, GA

Pay: 32 to 36 per hour

Company Overview: Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their in-home nursing team on a part-time basis. This role is critical in providing high-quality care directly to pediatric patients within their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Administer medications accurately and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
  • Record and monitor vital signs, ensuring the health and safety of patients.
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and eating.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health care procedures and treatment plans.
  • Ensure strict compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active LPN license in the state of Georgia.
  • Proven experience in a direct patient care setting, with strong clinical skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and routine medical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively explaining complex issues to patients and family members.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records.
