Base Pay: $25.00-$29.55 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a flexible and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Float Nurse to join our nursing team on the 7:00 AM-3:00 PM day shift.

As an LPN Float Nurse, you'll provide nursing support across units based on resident care and staffing needs. This position is a great fit for an LPN who enjoys variety, adapts easily to different units, and takes pride in supporting residents and fellow caregivers.

LPN Float Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
• Float between nursing units based on resident care and staffing needs.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Recognize changes in resident condition and communicate clinical concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, therapists, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow individualized resident care plans and nursing interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality resident care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, infection prevention, and quality care throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and confidently work across different nursing units.
• Dependable, flexible, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
