Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under general supervision and direction of the Registered Nurses and Director of Nursing to:
Assess the needs of patients and initiates, implements and evaluates individualized plans of care.
Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care.
Maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units.
Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and skills of personnel.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program required. Certification: Current, active LPN or LVN license in the state of Texas required.
