Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Livonia, MI. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our clients in home health settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and health status.
• Provide wound care and assist with other medical procedures as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient progress.
• Assist with patient education regarding health maintenance and disease management.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in home health or related nursing field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within the Livonia area.
