Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing

Location: Mount Olive, North Carolina 28365
Type: Contract
Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (30-Minute Break)
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a long-term care/skilled nursing team in Mount Olive, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support clinical operations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure excellent resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses
  • Assist with patient assessments and individualized care planning
  • Provide wound care, IV therapy, and nursing procedures within scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EMR/EHR systems
  • Supervise CNAs and support staff as assigned
  • Respond promptly to patient needs, changes in condition, and emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility protocols
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care teams
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfer coordination

Required Qualifications

  • Active LPN license in North Carolina
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Strong clinical and patient care skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facilities
  • Experience using EMR/EHR systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
