Position Details:

• Full-Time, 5 days/week, 1.0 FTE

• K-12 Caseload

• 1:1 nursing support for a student with medical needs

• Start Date: As soon as possible

• School Year: August 2026–June 2027
   

About the Role

Hello, LPNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing support for a student in Longmont, CO. This role focuses on providing hands-on care throughout the school day, including transportation support. What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 nursing support to a student

• Perform trach care, suctioning, and G-tube support

• Assist with safe transfers, including on and off the school bus

• Monitor the student’s health status and respond to medical needs

• Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans

• Support the student’s ability to safely access and participate in school throughout the day
   

What We’re Looking For

• Active Colorado State LPN license or Compact Multi-State Nursing License

• Experience with trach care, G-tube, and suctioning required

• Pediatric experience strongly preferred

• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check

• Reliable, attentive, and comfortable providing 1:1 care

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
