Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of Long-Term Care experience required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required
- Current physical examination required
- Two-Step TB Test, TB QuantiFERON, or Chest X-Ray required
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
- Ability to perform required job duties, including lifting and mobility assistance
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Evaluate patient status and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments and care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow facility policies, infection control procedures, and patient safety standards
- Promote patient comfort, dignity, and quality of care
