EnvisionAge Inc. is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at the Base Operational Medicine Clinic (BOMC) at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA). This role involves providing direct patient care services in collaboration with Air Force healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities Include:
Deliver nursing care to varied patient populations based on patient condition and clinical needs
Administer medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, IV) per protocol
Recognize and respond to urgent/emergent situations; initiate appropriate interventions
Support diagnostic and treatment procedures, assist physicians, and operate specialized equipment
Educate patients and families, reinforcing healthy practices and treatment plans
Document all care accurately and timely in accordance with policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and orient new staff to unit procedures
Promote a healthy work environment and uphold the highest standards of patient care
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program (state Board approved or military equivalent)
License: Active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license
Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience within the past 3 years
Certification: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
