What You'll Do

As an LPN or Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Patient Care & Clinical Support

  • Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Review medical histories, medications, and reason for visit.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Administer medications and injections within your scope of practice.
  • Collect lab specimens, perform blood draws, and support laboratory services as needed.
  • Monitor patient needs and communicate concerns to the provider and care team.

Care Coordination & Documentation

  • Accurately document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Assist with medication refill requests and patient medication questions.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date medical records.
  • Coordinate care with providers and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.

Patient Education & Team Collaboration

  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare.
  • Help create a welcoming, safe, and patient-centered environment.
  • Collaborate with providers and teammates to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Current LPN license in the State of Missouri (or ability to obtain).
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Medical Assistant (MA)

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.

For All Candidates

  • Strong patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and basic computer applications.
  • Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional patient service.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, outpatient, or ambulatory care settings.
  • Experience with phlebotomy, injections, and laboratory specimen collection.
  • Knowledge of preventative health practices and patient education.
