Company Overview:
One of the largest providers of outpatient services in New York City is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join their team in the Bronx.
Position Overview:Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) monitor vital signs and administer immunizations, and basic treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet patients, manage the patients' flow and conduct patient intake.
- Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
- Monitor and record vital signs and overall patient health status.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and basic treatments
- Perform suture removal, specimen collection, and phlebotomy
- Document patient information in EMR and maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms
- Educate patients on medication, procedures, and general health care
- 1-2 years of experience required in ambulatory setting. Open to New Grads.
- NYS LPN License and Registration
- BLS Certification by American Heart Association
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred but not required.
- NYS LPN License and Registration
- High School Diploma or GED
- LPN Diploma or Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Government Photo ID
- 2 Professional Reference Letters
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate by American Heart Association
- Proof of updated Titers for: Measles Mumps and Rubella HepB Varicella Flu Vaccination
