    Lake Regional Health System is looking for an outgoing, professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) to join our team. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community.\n \nJob Responsibilities\n\n Escorts patients to the exam room and documents chief complaints\n Documents patient care in the electronic medical record\n Assists physician and/or nurse practitioner by providing assessment, treatment, testing, and education for the patients in the practice.\n Greets patients warmly and respectfully, demonstrating compassion\n Responds in a timely manner and keeps patients informed while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all privacy and protected health regulations.\n Assists physician/nurse practitioner with in-clinic procedures\n \nQualifications/Requirements: \n\n A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role. \n Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing Program \u2014 New Grads Welcome!\n Missouri LPN License required\n Previous medical office experience, including lab draws desired\n \nMA Qualifications:\n \nGraduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program or has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting for at least 3\u20135 years. \n \nYou will be required to test for credentials within 90 days from hire date using one of the approved credentialing bodies:\n\n American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) / Website: www.aama-ntl.org,\n American Medical Technologists (AMT) / Website: www.americanmedtech.org\n National Healthcareer Association (NHA) / Website: www.nhanow.com\n National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)/ Website: www.nahpusa.com \n \nCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) / Certified Clinic Medical Assistant (CCMA) credentials desired\n \nAdditional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development.
