Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Remote {169171}

Compensation:
• The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour - weekly
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Highlights:
• This position is a 6 month contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Fully remote
• Training duration is 6 weeks and attendance is mandatory
• Training schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM CT
• Work hours will vary between 8:00AM – 8:00PM Central Time
• Mandatory overtime required based on business needs

Responsibilities:
• Review criteria-based prior authorizations following policy and procedure
• Provide internal nurse support to the PA team and member services department
• Refer cases not meeting clinical criteria to Pharmacist and MD teams
• Process prior authorization cases and maintain accurate documentation
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with pharmacies, physicians, healthcare providers, and members
• Load authorizations, process cases, and complete follow-up calls
• Maintain complete and accurate electronic clinical documentation and reporting
• Navigate multiple systems while multitasking in a high-production environment
• Shift priorities quickly while maintaining a high level of urgency and accuracy
• Support pharmacy operations and communicate referral status with physician office staff and customer service teams
• Attend training sessions and development meetings as required

Requirements:
• Active unrestricted LPN or LVN license in state of residence or compact state required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN required
• Prior Authorization and/or Case Management experience preferred
• Managed care or health plan experience preferred
• Call center or high-volume healthcare phone experience preferred
• Digital charting and electronic clinical documentation experience required
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills required
• High-production, metrics-driven environment experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems required
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Prior remote/work-from-home experience preferred
• Must maintain a private, quiet home workspace that protects PHI/confidential information
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
