About the Role: Join Ellis House LLC as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and make a difference in the lives of our resident clients in Anne Arundel, Howard. Montgomery, Prince Georges Counties in MD. We are looking for compassionate, dedicated clnicians to provide high-quality home care services in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.
Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Educate residents and families on health management and wellness.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
Requirements:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maryland.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care or a related healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
