Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care and services at a facility in State Farm, VA. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care to patients through collaborative efforts with health team members while adhering to standards of care and practice. <\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Participates in the screening, evaluation, and care of inmates while under the supervision of a physician and/or registered nurse.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Coordinate with other medical and ancillary personnel, as required, to ensure continuity of care.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ condition.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Provide appropriate nursing interventions in emergency situations.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>
