Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Westland, MI. The LPN will provide quality nursing care to our patients in a supportive and professional environment. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and assistance to patients according to established care plans.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in wound care and other clinical procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease management.

Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
