Currently we are searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPLN) for a contract role with an exceptional occupational / primary care healthcare organization based out of Wichita, KS.
· Start date: ASAP
· Contract length: 5 weeks plus
· Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM / Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
· Pay rate range: $30 - $35 an hour
· Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay
JOB DETAILS:
· LPN needed for primary care clinic serving patients 2 years of age and up
· Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
· Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
· Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
· Gives injections or treatments, biometric screening, POC testing, and performs phlebotomy
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
· Must have at least 3 years of LPN experience in a primary care, ER, urgent care or occupational health environment.
· Seeking someone that has strong customer service skills, strong phlebotomy skills and experience with front and back office duties.
· Must be proficient in using Epic EMR.
· LPN license in KS required.
