Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a busy outpatient medical practice in Winston-Salem.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable supporting physicians and clinical staff wherever needed.

Position Details

Pay: $24–$27 per hour, based on applicable experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, beginning at 6:15 a.m. End times typically vary between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.; employees are expected to receive 40 hours per week.
Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Primary Responsibilities

• Obtain, verify, and document patient health histories.
• Gather relevant health information through physical assessments and biological samples.
• Collect specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Provide basic patient care and administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Accurately document assessments, procedures, medications, test results, and patient responses.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with examinations, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and minor medical procedures.
• Follow established protocols, standing orders, algorithms, and physician instructions.
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient-care plans.
• Provide patient education and communicate physician instructions.
• Maintain infection-control, safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards.
• Attend staff meetings and support the clinical team as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of LPN experience.
