Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Florence, AL
Type: Contract (9 Weeks, Possible Extension)
Pay: $30/hr – $35/hr
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide quality nursing care in a Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing setting. This opportunity offers a stable schedule, hands-on patient care experience, and the chance to work with a collaborative healthcare team supporting residents' health, comfort, and well-being.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with admissions, assessments, care planning, and documentation.
• Support residents with rehabilitation and recovery goals.
• Perform wound care, basic treatments, and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatment goals.
• Follow facility policies, infection control guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Active LPN License.
• Current BLS/BCLS Certification.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing (SNF), Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Care preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience.
• Medication administration experience.
• Resident assessment and monitoring skills.
• Strong team collaboration and time management abilities.
