Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Behavorial Health

Location: Lubbock, TX

Schedule: 8‑hour Evening Shift

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract Length: 26 weeks

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay:$1,686

Position Overview A healthcare facility in Lubbock, TX is seeking a reliable and skilled LPN for a 26‑week contract assignment. This role provides consistent evening‑shift coverage and supports residents with high‑quality clinical care.

Requirements

• Active Texas LVN license or compact license

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Must have behavioral health experience

• 1 year, but preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.

• Perform computer data entry – Receive full training

• Competent in advanced skills such as gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, etc.

• First 5 weeks is training 8a-5p Mon-Fri (May only get 32 hours during these weeks)
