Pay Range: $43.25 - $52.28/hr

Schedule:

• Full Time: 36 hrs/week
• Available Shifts: Every Other Weekend Required
• 1st Shift (Days): 7:00 am - 7:30 pm
• 2nd Shift (Nights): 7:00 pm - 7:30 am

Shift Differentials:

• 2 hr from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
• 4 hr from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Full-Time Sign-On Bonuses (Paid in Installments Over 5 Years):

• Day Shift (1st): $35,000
• Night Shift (2nd): $50,000

About the Role Are you a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) seeking a meaningful role where your skills directly contribute to patient recovery? What Youll Do As an LPN at RCA, you will:

• Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients to gather case history.
• Plan and provide nursing care for patients.
• Collaborate with team members to create a therapeutic environment utilizing verbal de-escalation and therapeutic communication.
• Monitor patients utilizing CIWA/COWS assessments and measuring vital signs during their detoxification, providing medication as ordered and contacting medical providers when necessary.
• Consult with medical and other behavioral healthcare staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Prepare paperwork and medications for patients discharging next shift.
• Administer and note reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications.
• Arrange further medical attention when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Massachusetts or the ability to get licensed.
• Previous experience working in behavioral health or addiction is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CIWA/COWS assessments preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of health care detoxification process, addiction co-occurring disorders, and DSM criteria and terminology preferred.
• Availability to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• Ability to read and interpret written information, write clearly and informatively, and edit work for spelling and grammar.
• Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; thorough knowledge of facility proprietary systems.
