    Responsibilities

    • Welcome and support patients throughout their clinic visit, including intake and discharge activities.
    • Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
    • Obtain vital signs, collect specimens, administer medications and vaccines, and perform clinical procedures within LPN scope of practice.
    • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, follow-up appointments, and patient scheduling.
    • Answer phones and provide front office support to ensure efficient clinic operations.
    • Accurately document patient care and maintain electronic medical records.
    • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care using patient-centered communication.
    • Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver exceptional patient care and service.
    • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, privacy, and regulatory standards.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • LPN Degree from an accredited nursing school

    License(s)/Certification(s):

    • LPN License in the State of Iowa
