Job Description:

Matthews-Vu Medical Group (MVMG) is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy podiatry practice. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced specialty environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in clinical support, preferably within podiatry or orthopedic settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within scope of LPN licensure in a podiatry specialty clinic
  • Assist Dr. Kotter with in-office procedures, treatments, and patient exams
  • Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and supplies for podiatric procedures
  • Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, dressing changes, injections (if applicable), and vital signs monitoring
  • Educate patients on post-procedure care, treatment plans, and foot health management
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
  • Coordinate patient care, including referrals, follow-ups, and scheduling support
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and clinical protocols
  • Support overall clinic flow to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong clinical skills and patient care experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, or surgical clinic settings
  • Familiarity with wound care and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient specialty environment
  • Knowledge of EMR systems

Salary Range:

$19.71 - 26.28 hourly
