About the Organization
Our client is a decentralized clinical trial (DCT) organization redefining how clinical research reaches patients. Rather than requiring patients to travel to a traditional research site, their model brings the research experience directly into patients' homes, an approach that depends on clinicians who are precise, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field.

The Role
We're seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or skilled Phlebotomist with recent, hands-on experience in blood collection and specimen processing to support home visits in the Elkton, VA area. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for a clinician who enjoys independent, one-on-one patient care outside of a traditional clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits to perform blood draws (phlebotomy) and centrifuge/specimen processing per protocol
  • Accurately document all visit findings and maintain required source documentation
  • Communicate visit outcomes and any concerns promptly to the study team
  • Maintain strict adherence to protocol, patient confidentiality, and safety standards
  • Build rapport with patients to support a positive, professional visit experience

What You Bring

  • Active, unrestricted LPN license or phlebotomy certification
  • Minimum 2 years of current, hands-on experience in blood collection (phlebotomy) and centrifuge processing
  • Comfort working independently in a home-visit setting
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to patient homes
  • Clinical research or decentralized trial experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and professional, patient-focused communication skills

Why This Role
This is a meaningful opportunity to put your blood draw expertise to work in a flexible, predictable visit schedule, no facility shifts, no weekend rotations, just focused, independent work that fits around your life. It's an excellent fit for a clinician who wants variety outside the traditional bedside or clinic environment.
