As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Oklahoma City, OK. The scheduled hours are PRN - as needed.
- Flexible PRN opportunity supporting two established employer health clinics in downtown Oklahoma City, offering weekday hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm) with no evenings or weekends.
- Join a close-knit, family-oriented team with a steady pace and the ability to make an immediate impact while providing primary care and chronic condition management using Epic EMR.
- Practice a wide variety of clinical skills including phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and patient care coordination while working alongside experienced providers in modern onsite clinics
What You'll Do
- Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
- Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
- Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
- Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
- Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
- At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
