Shift Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (may vary based on facility needs)
• Floating: Required as needed

Job Summary

A healthcare facility is seeking a Telemetry LPN to provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. The LPN will support the clinical team in monitoring patients, administering treatments, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic care environment.

Patient Diagnoses / Clinical Focus

• Patients with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions
• Common conditions include:
  • Sepsis
  • Myocardial Infarction (MI)
  • Unstable Angina
  • Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
• Care for patients receiving:
  • IV antiarrhythmic therapy
  • Vasoactive infusions
  • Anticoagulation therapy

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient conditions using telemetry systems
• Assist with administration of medications and treatments within LPN scope
• Support care for cardiac patients requiring continuous monitoring
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and infection control standards
• Assist in responding to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina LPN License
• Certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
