About the Role: North Point Senior Homecare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN basis in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to senior clients in a home care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician
Administer medications, wound care, and treatments as directed by the care plan
Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding care updates
Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) and support patient independence and dignity
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
Follow all HIPAA, infection control, and homecare safety protocols
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Virginia
Previous experience in home care, geriatrics, or a related healthcare setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes in the Virginia Beach area
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home environment
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
