- Active LPN license.
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 2+ years of recent experiece
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies under the direction of an RN or physician.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments within the LPN scope of practice.
- Assist physicians and RNs during emergency procedures, wound care, splinting, suturing, and trauma care.
- Perform EKGs, specimen collection, catheterization, dressing changes, and other clinical procedures as assigned.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes or concerns to the RN or provider.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, imaging, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Emergency Room (ER) provides direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians in a fast-paced emergency department. The LPN assists with patient assessments, treatments, medication administration, and emergency procedures while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.
