- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with the patient's plan of care.
- Monitor and record vital signs, pain levels, intake/output, and patient conditions, reporting changes promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV therapies (where permitted), and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, ostomy care, and other basic nursing procedures.
- Assist physicians and Registered Nurses during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing and ensure proper labeling and handling.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, medications, treatments, and responses in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and toileting as needed.
The purpose of this position is to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assisting with patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, and supporting the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The overall goal of the position is to promote patient safety, enhance clinical outcomes, maintain continuity of care, and provide exceptional patient-centered services while adhering to facility policies, state regulations, and evidence-based nursing practices.
