Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Location: Antelope Valley Region, CA
Pay Rate: Up to $47/hour

As a school-based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), your days will include:
- Provide direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health needs.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies.
- Monitor and document student health status, maintaining accurate medical records and medication logs.
- Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies while following established health protocols.
- Assist students requiring specialized medical procedures, including G-tube feedings, catheterization, tracheostomy care, and seizure monitoring, as applicable.
- Collaborate with school nurses, administrators, teachers, therapists, and families to support student health and academic success.
- Promote a safe and healthy school environment through infection control and universal precautions.
- Maintain compliance with district policies, California nursing regulations, and applicable state and federal guidelines.
Job Details
- Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
- Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
- Schedule: School hours with no nights, weekends, or holidays
- Caseload: Elementary and Middle School opportunities available
Successful Candidates Possess
- Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License (required)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification (required)
- Experience working in pediatrics, schools, or with medically fragile children (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- The ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
