You will lead the design, analysis, and inspection of civil/structural projects, ensuring compliance with codes and client standards. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from inception to completion and mentor junior staff.ResponsibilitiesLead design and analysis for structural/civil engineering projectsPrepare, review, and seal engineering drawings, plans, and specificationsConduct site inspections, structural assessments, and forensic investigationsCoordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and project stakeholdersEnsure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations (IBC, ASCE, ACI, etc.)Supervise and review work from junior engineers and draftersManage multiple projects, schedules, and budgetsWrite technical reports, letters, and permit submittalsStay current on industry best practices and technologiesQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in State of Florida5+ years of relevant engineering experienceProficiency with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, etc.)Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other drafting platformsStrong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage projects independently and meet deadlinesPreferred qualificationsExperience with concrete restoration, post-tension systems, or façade inspectionsOSHA 10/30, Threshold Inspector Certification, or other relevant credentialsKnowledge of local permitting and code enforcement proceduresPrevious experience in consulting or forensic engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
