Well established Independent Insurance Agency is looking for an experienced Property & Casualty Licensed Agent or Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.
We are seeking a team member who is highly motivated and excels in establishing and maintaining client relationships.
At least 1-2 years experience in the selling and servicing of personal lines insurance policies is prefered.
Our agency enjoys the representation of many top-rated Admitted Carriers, allowing us access to some of the most competitive and comprehensive programs available in the market.
Requirements:
Active FL P&C License (2-20 or 4-40)
Sales experience of Personal Lines policies for a minimum of 1-2 years
Bi-Lingual, fully fluent in English and Spanish
Excellent communication skills: Verbal, Written and Listening
Self-motivated, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Good time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work within a team and encourage teamwork
Must be trustworthy, dependable and demonstrate ethical behavior
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Solicit new accounts and establish customer relationships.
Manage renewals and service requests assigned.
Complete new business & renewal applications with customers.
Identify cross-sale opportunities to existing agency customers.
Maintain a high customer/account retention rate.
Provide general customer service to agency customers.
Develop proficiency in agency management and quoting software.
Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity by entering and maintaining complete and accurate information.
Develop product knowledge of multiple carriers for various lines of insurance while complying with carrier underwriting guidelines.
Assist in production & retention efforts to meet agency growth objectives
Provide product expertise/advice to customers by thoroughly explaining policy language, coverages, underwriting requirements, etc.
