Job Description

Licensed Psychologist | Assessment Focus

Location: WisconsinSchedule: Full-Time | HybridPopulation: Children & Adolescents

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist with a strong background in psychological assessment and diagnosis to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team serving children, adolescents, and families.

This position is designed for a psychologist who wants to focus on clinical interpretation, diagnostic formulation, consultation, and high-quality psychological and neuropsychological assessment without carrying the full administrative burden of the testing process.

The assessment program includes psychometricians, psychology trainees, and administrative support staff who assist with test administration, scoring, scheduling, and coordination. This allows the psychologist to practice at the top of their license and spend more time on clinical interpretation, consultation, and treatment planning.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and/or neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents

  • Interpret assessment findings and provide diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations

  • Prepare high-quality psychological and neuropsychological reports

  • Collaborate with families, treatment providers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Participate in treatment planning and ongoing clinical consultation

  • Provide consultation to treatment teams and clinical staff

  • Provide supervision and mentorship to trainees or clinical staff based on experience and interest

  • Participate in program development, quality improvement, and clinical education

  • Provide education related to mental health, neurodevelopmental conditions, assessment findings, and evidence-based treatment

Work Environment & Flexibility

This is a hybrid position with flexibility depending on caseload, assessment needs, and client requirements. Many weeks will involve approximately 2–3 days on-site, although scheduling may vary based on clinical and program needs.

The role offers the opportunity to work across outpatient and residential treatment settings.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Wisconsin psychologist license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure

  • Training and experience in psychological assessment and diagnosis

  • Eligibility for credentialing and reimbursement through Wisconsin Medicaid and other third-party payers

  • Strong clinical reasoning and ethical decision-making skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

  • Proficiency with electronic health records and standard office technology

Preferred:

  • APA-accredited Clinical Psychology doctoral program

  • APA-accredited internship

  • Neuropsychology-focused internship, fellowship, or advanced specialty training

  • Experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations with children and adolescents

  • Experience with autism, ADHD, learning disorders, developmental disabilities, trauma, or complex mental health presentations

  • Experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, or multidisciplinary care

  • Interest in supervision, training, consultation, or program development

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Retirement plan with employer contribution

  • Paid time off and holidays

  • Paid parental leave

  • Short- and long-term disability options

  • Life and AD&D insurance

  • Employee assistance program

  • Flexible spending accounts

  • Tuition assistance/loan reimbursement opportunities

  • Professional development and continuing education support

  • Relocation assistance

If you're a psychologist who enjoys assessment and diagnostic work and wants a collaborative environment where you can spend more time practicing clinically and less time managing the logistics of testing, this could be an excellent opportunity.
