Therapy My Way, P.C. is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to join our growing private practice in Plainview, New York.


This position is ideal for a licensed psychologist who enjoys providing high-quality outpatient psychotherapy in a collaborative private-practice setting.


Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
  
  
• Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  
  
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  
  
• Collaborate with other clinicians and members of our multidisciplinary team
  
  
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, schools, and other providers as appropriate
  
  
• Participate in staff meetings and clinical consultation as needed
  
  
• Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with New York State licensing requirements
  
  

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
  
  
• Current New York State license as a psychologist
  
  
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
  
  
• Professional, dependable, and able to manage an outpatient caseload independently
  
  
• Experience working with children, adolescents, families, and/or adults preferred
  
  
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary practice
  
  
• Experience in private practice is a plus
