The
Radiology Technologist performs various radiologic services using X -Ray
equipment for diagnostic purposes.<\/span><\/span>

Ensure
that all the requirement and regulations for patient care and safety are
followed while providing quality images. <\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
Performs
various diagnostic radiographic images. Use radiation safety measure and
protection device to ensure safety of patient and team member. Operate
radiologic equipment including Portable Machine for diagnostic purposes.
Ensure radiologic equipment works properly. Report any equipment
malfunctions to the manager. Follow precise procedure for exposure,
positioning and safety of the patient. Assure proper quality of images
for each radiological procedure. Position patient according to
radiologist protocols. Transport and operates portable x -ray
equipment. Properly identifies patients using hospital protocols.
Maintains required CE'S as needed for licensure. Operate all x -ray equipment,
computer, phones and fax machines.<\/span><\/span>

years of experience preferred, new graduate may be considered<\/span><\/span>

Possession
of a license and current registration to practice radiologic technology in New
York State<\/span><\/span>
