Job Description: Licensed Registered Nurse
Location: Knoxville, TN(On-Site)
Rate: $42/hr on 1099.
Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and conduct vaccination clinics within county jails across East Tennessee
- Educate justice-involved individuals about vaccines and viral hepatitis prevention
- Properly store, transport, and administer vaccinations according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) handling guidance
- Documents patient information according to standards of care
- Completes patient health records (electronic and paper)
- Track and report number of vaccines administered at each clinic site and educational materials provided
- Participate in programmatic calls with project supervisor and/or viral hepatitis teams
- Communicates with internal and external entities
- Maintains patient health files and legal record of service
Registered Nurse Minimum Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse.
