Description
School-Based Physical Therapist (1 - 5 days/wk). Love children? We do too! Are you a Physical Therapist in or around the Philadelphia, PA area? If so, send your resume so we can start a conversation about our client's openings!
Client's Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited institution.
Must hold a valid state license to practice physical therapy in Pennsylvania.
Previous experience working with children, especially in a school setting, is often required.
Familiarity with developing and implementing therapy goals within IEPs for students with disabilities.
Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity:
Evaluate Students' Physical Needs: Conduct assessments to identify physical challenges affecting students' ability to participate in school activities.
Develop Individualized Therapy Plans: Create tailored therapy programs to address students' mobility, strength, and motor skills development.
Provide Physical Therapy Services: Administer hands-on therapy sessions to improve physical function, strength, and coordination.
Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure integrated support for students' physical needs.
Document Progress and Report: Maintain accurate records of students' progress and update therapy plans as needed.
