POSITION OVERVIEW
Avery Partners is seeking a skilled Licensed Electronic Security Technician on behalf of our client for a contract-to-hire engagement. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with electronic security systems and a strong technical foundation in access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection. Candidates with system configuration and programming experience are highly encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic security, access control, and CCTV equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with security, access control, and CCTV devices
- Test and calibrate electronic components and systems
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform tasks accurately
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Provide on-site technical support to customers and clients
- Stay current on the latest advancements in electronic security technology
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Electronic Security Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of access control and CCTV systems and components
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Demonstrated ability to detect and resolve electronic malfunctions
- Valid driver's license required
- Valid Low Voltage License for Oregon
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Bosch, or DMP platforms
- Background in system configuration and programming
- Computer networking experience a plus
