Electronic Security Technician — Direct Hire Avery Partners | Staffing & Consulting Solutions

POSITION OVERVIEW

Avery Partners is seeking a skilled Licensed Electronic Security Technician on behalf of our client for a contract-to-hire engagement. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with electronic security systems and a strong technical foundation in access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection. Candidates with system configuration and programming experience are highly encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, maintain, and repair electronic security, access control, and CCTV equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with security, access control, and CCTV devices
  • Test and calibrate electronic components and systems
  • Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform tasks accurately
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
  • Provide on-site technical support to customers and clients
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in electronic security technology

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Electronic Security Technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of access control and CCTV systems and components
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Demonstrated ability to detect and resolve electronic malfunctions
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Valid Low Voltage License for Oregon  
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Bosch, or DMP platforms
  • Background in system configuration and programming
  • Computer networking experience a plus

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

  • Type: Direct Hire
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday / Weekends as needed
  • Travel: ~50% required
  • Work Location: On the road
