The Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) supports our students by delivering high-quality educational or related services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in ARD/IEP processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations.
Interpret assessment data.
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings.
Provide crisis intervention.
Consult with teachers and families.
Develop behavior recommendations.
Maintain evaluation reports.
Ensure IDEA/TEA compliance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications
Master's/Specialist degree with active Texas LSSP credential.
Preferred Qualifications
School-based experience.
Behavior assessment expertise.
Strong report writing skills.
