Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role blends traditional speech therapy with outdoor and equine-assisted approaches to create highly engaging, functional therapy sessions.

You will collaborate with trained equine handlers and a multidisciplinary team to help patients achieve meaningful communication outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services in a nature-based outpatient setting
• Incorporate hippotherapy techniques into treatment sessions (training provided)
• Collaborate with horse handlers to ensure safe, effective therapy experiences
• Build strong, supportive relationships with patients and families
• Contribute to a mission-focused environment centered on growth, healing, and resilience

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (or eligible for licensure)
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Interest in or willingness to learn equine-assisted therapy
• Comfort working outdoors and in a nontraditional setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach
• Horse experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• Flexible scheduling options, PRN with full-time hours available
