Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensed Surveyor and Mapper to oversee and manage a variety of projects in the South and Central Florida areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying (both field and office), excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage large scale projects; field crews and office staff efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform additional field duties or assist with utility locating as assigned.
- Coordinate daily scheduling of field survey crews and office support staff.
- Serve as the primary liaison between survey managers, project managers, clients, and field crews.
- Review work orders, proposals, and project requirements to ensure successful outcomes.
- Track project timelines and ensure timely delivery of survey services.
- Perform field and office calculations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the course of survey operations.
- Assist with drafting task orders and organizing project files.
- Certify surveys as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of survey terminology, processes, and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Trimble Business Center.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, field staff, and internal teams.
- Ability to read and interpret utility maps, plans, and field markings.
- Physically able to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range:Salary commensurate on experience

Requirements
- Current Florida Surveyor and Mappers License
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper
- Must be Authorized to Work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel to job sites.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Fluent in English.
