Job Description
A 16-bed adult detox/residential treatment facility in Bloomington, Indiana is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join its clinical team. This role will provide direct therapeutic services to adults receiving treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically strong, and comfortable working in a fast-paced residential setting with a dual diagnosis population.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy sessions to clients in detox and residential levels of care
- Facilitate process groups, psychoeducational groups, and other therapeutic programming
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to treatment planning
- Develop, update, and maintain individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and discharge planning
- Support crisis intervention and provide clinical guidance as needed
- Coordinate care with medical providers, case managers, and other members of the treatment team
- Monitor client progress and adjust clinical interventions based on treatment needs
- Help ensure services are delivered in accordance with program standards, ethical guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active Indiana licensure as LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW
- Experience working with adult mental health and substance use disorder populations preferred
- Knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment and residential or detox settings preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
