Role Description

This is a part time role for a licensed Therapist located in Long Beach, CA, with a hybrid working arrangement allowing for some work remotely (or all telehealth, if preferred). The Therapist will provide counseling and therapeutic services tailored to the needs of diverse clients. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate client records, and delivering effective therapy sessions. The role also involves collaborating with other professionals to ensure high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• Professional counseling, psychotherapy, and client assessment skills
• \n
• Experience in developing effective treatment plans and therapeutic strategies
• \n
• Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
• \n
• Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure client confidentiality
• \n
• Knowledge of mental health practices, theories, and ethical frameworks
• \n
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field (LCSW/MSW, MFT/LMFT, PhD/PsyD)
• \n
• Licensure as a Therapist, Counselor, or equivalent credential in the state of California is a requirement
• \n
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote tasks
• \n
• Prior experience with diverse client populations is highly valued
