We are hiring licensed therapists LMFT/LPSS/ LCSW/PhD/PSYD in Westminster, CA due to our tremendous growth. Enjoy a very flexible schedule working 2-5 days a week (6 hrs -8 per day), part time. This is very satisfying work with appreciative patients conducting brief 20-minute sessions. You will manage your own schedule, which can easily accommodate further studies.
Pacific Blue Psychological Services is a family of licensed, certified, and highly skilled professionals with decades of experience providing mental health treatments to the underserved population in Assisted Living facilities and Skilled Nursing homes in California.
About the Role: The therapist will provide clinical and counseling services to clients using appropriate interventions and psychotherapy modalities to assist the client in reaching their specific identified goals. The therapist collaborates with other behavioral health specialists and provides individual and group therapy to improve or assist client's capacity for functioning. Services are provided in the field, not remotely, requiring flexibility, creativity and a client-centered approach.
Psychologist Job Duties:
Conduct initial assessments and complete intake documentation.
Utilize therapeutic modalities to meet client needs.
Provide individual and group therapy and complete required documentation.
Collaborate with treatment teams, community resources and referral sources.
Provide crisis intervention and phone support when needed.
Minimum qualifications:
Enrolled in Doctorate program, practicum hours already fulfilled.
Knowledge of counseling and group therapy theories
Excellent listening and communication skills
Experience and knowledge working with trauma, substance use and homeless populations.
