Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Great Lakes Hospital for Animals | Belmont, Michigan
Great Lakes Hospital for Animals is growing, and we are excited to expand our footprint in the community. We are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is skilled, compassionate, dependable, and ready to be an active part of a collaborative veterinary team.
Our LVTs are trusted members of the medical team and have the opportunity to fully use the skills they worked hard to develop. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys patient care, client education, teamwork, and making a meaningful difference every day.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Small-animal practice experience is preferred.

We believe Licensed Veterinary Technicians should have the opportunity to use their license, build their skills, and continue growing professionally.
Our LVTs are involved throughout the hospital, including surgery, anesthesia, technician appointments, diagnostics, laboratory work, client education, phone nursing, and patient advocacy.
We also support ongoing learning through continuing education opportunities and encourage our technicians to continue developing their clinical and leadership skills.
Schedule
Great Lakes Hospital for Animals is open Monday through Saturday.
Full-time team members typically enjoy a four-day work week. Schedules may include a combination of daytime and evening shifts, with Saturdays typically scheduled only once every 3-4 weeks.
Hospital hours:
Both full-time and part-time schedules will be considered.
