Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about animal care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent support to veterinarians, patients, and pet owners.
Responsibilities
Clean, treat, and dress wounds
Operate laboratory equipment and perform diagnostic testing
Draw up medications and administer injections as directed
Prepare animals for surgical procedures
Assist the veterinarian during surgeries and medical procedures
Monitor and care for animals before and after procedures
Maintain accurate medical records
Ensure exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment are clean and organized
Provide compassionate care and excellent customer service to clients and their pets
Qualifications
Previous veterinary clinic, animal care, or veterinary technician experience preferred
Ability to safely handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
Ability to lift and carry animals as needed
