Clinic Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM • Closed Saturday & Sunday

Open Position

Licensed Veterinary Technician Full-Time & Part-Time Available

Full-Time Schedule:

• 4-day work week • NO weekends

Compensation:

• 25-35 hour based on experience • $2000 Sign-On Bonus

About Our Practice

Piedmont Pets Veterinary Care is a busy two-doctor practice providing compassionate, comprehensive care to pets in Warrenton, Virginia. Each doctor sees approximately 12-15 patients per day, allowing us to provide attentive, quality care while maintaining a productive workflow. We are a well-equipped hospital that values efficiency, teamwork, and patient comfort. Our Services & Equipment Include:

• Routine wellness care • Soft tissue surgery performed 4 days per week • In-house diagnostics • Zoetis • Abaxis lab equipment • EZVet software • Digital full-body x-ray performed for all patients as needed • Dedicated dental suite with dental table & dental x-ray • Traveling ultrasonographer for diagnostic ultrasound • Low-stress handling techniques whenever possible

We are seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians of all experience levels who are:

• Proficient in technical and clinical skills • Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support • Experienced or eager to grow in dentistry and radiology • Team-oriented with strong communication skills • Passionate about patient care • Interested in working in a fast-paced, supportive environment

Surgical experience is strongly preferred.

What Youll Bring to the Team

  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program
  • Current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing
  • Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures
  • A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively
  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred
