The Role

Our client, a Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility (120-bed) in Harlingen, TX, is looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team. This is a full-time, direct-hire position. Full-time, 2:00 PM 10:00 PM shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients' condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care
  • Provide nursing care in a caring and compassionate manner
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
  • Coordinate with CNAs, CMAs, and other nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and communicate changes in condition to the care team

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Active Texas LVN license required

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred; new graduates will also be considered
