Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN
Location: Denton, TX 76210
Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension or Perm. conversion
Pay: $36/hr.
Schedule
40 hours weekly
Day shift: 6 AM - 2 PM
Noon shift: 2 PM - 10 PM
Overview: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides advanced vocational nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral needs. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality, compassionate care while supporting the overall health, safety, and well-being of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and ongoing monitoring
Educate patients on medications and care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
Perform computer-based data entry (training provided)
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including:
ICF-IID Regulations
DSSLC Policies and Procedures
HHSC Standards and Guidelines
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
Qualifications
Active LVN license
At least 2 years of recent LVN experience required
Must be able to pass a background check and Drug Test
