Location: Palestine, Texas Schedule: Full-Time | 4:3 Rotating Schedule Shifts: Days 6:45 AM–7:15 PM | Nights 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Position Overview
Seeking experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a clinical and inpatient setting. This role offers exposure to a variety of nursing functions, including clinic care, inpatient services, medication administration, wound care, emergency care, and critical care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing services, treatments, and preventive care.
Administer prescribed medications and interpret physician orders.
Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions.
Assist physicians with patient care and examinations.
Provide wound care, surgical dressings, and emergency first aid.
Monitor patients for changes in physical or emotional condition and report concerns.
Provide discharge planning and health education.
Maintain accurate medical records and manage medical supplies.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program.
Current Texas LVN license or permit.
1+ year of Med/Surg or LTAC experience.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
